Aberdeen – Eastern Cape

Aberdeen – Eastern Cape

The Eastern Cape town of Aberdeen was laid out in 1856 on the farm Brakkefontein. There are many old Victorian buildings in the town and Aberdeen is only 55 km from the heritage town of Graaf Reinet.

Of particular interest is the 1898 stone Post Office with its spire, and the NGK Church that takes centre place. There are many guest houses in the town for those wishing to stay-over.
