Botswana is a vast country with a huge diversity of habitat, flora , and fauna. This album has images of a flight from the busy Maun airport, to Kasane via Savuti and the Kwai Concession.
The landscapes are arid, interspersed with the welcome relief of the Delta rivers that provide a lifeline to game in the dry season of the year.
It is always possible to see the scatterd herds of elephant at the pans, and then more prevalent along the Savuti channel and Chobe River. The Delta is well serviced by air operators, as evidenced by the many small aircraft at Maun. This is a good way to get around the country if you have limited time, however those with plenty of time can enjoy the wilderness experience of a road trip.
