17 Aug Botswana – Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park in northern Botswana is a must see for any visitors to Southern Africa. The Chobe National Park is on the South Bank of the Chobe and bordering Namibia, and forms the northern part of the extensive wetland area of the Okavongo.
The Park can be accessed along the Chobe River on launches leaving from Kusane, and this allows game viewing from up close. In addition to this the reserve is accessible with game drives from the many lodges in Kusane or located in concession areas. In this post are images of one of the lodges in a concession area, Chobe Elephant Camp.
The Park is home to the big five and its river frontage attracts a large variety of birdlife.
