Kariba – Spurwing Island

Kariba – Spurwing Island

Spurwing Island is about 45 minutes by boat from Charara across the lake. The resort has comfortable accomodation with a bar and dining, area providing communal facilities.

The resort provides a base for fishermen and  has close access to the Mtusadonna game reserve with both bush and open plains on the edge of the majestic Lake Kariba. Kariba is the largest man made lake in the world in the north west of Zimbabwe. It has created a diverse wildlife area with all of the ‘big five’.
