09 Feb Katse Dam – Lesotho
A trip to Lesotho has to include a trip up the mountain to the Katse Dam.
The dam is part of the Lesotho Transfrontier water scheme supplying water to Gauteng. However it is the drive up with the infinite landscapes that captures the mind. You need a good 8 hours for the round trip from South Africa, with the mid way destination being the Katse Dam wall at over 3000 metres.
